I have always been fascinated by creating forms. Clay offers endless possibilities for this – objects take shape in my hands, combining functionality with aesthetics.

My journey into ceramics has been long and diverse. I began my art studies in interior design and graduated from the Tallinn Art Institute as a fashion designer. Both fashion and interior design explore form, proportion and material – the same principles that continue to guide me in ceramics. I acquired my technical skills in working with clay at Olustvere School of Rural Economics.

When creating my work, I imagine my pieces in contemporary interiors – spaces where they are not merely functional objects, but a natural part of the whole. I enjoy exploring how form, light and material interact, and how an object can enrich everyday life.

My work is created in my small home studio in Saue, Estonia. Most of my pieces are made using the slab-building technique and fired at high temperatures of 1245 °C. They are dishwasher- and microwave-safe, and the glazes used on pieces intended for food contact are food-safe.

What brings me the greatest joy is creating objects that become part of everyday life, bringing beauty and a sense of individuality to ordinary moments.

When designing my work, I envision my pieces in contemporary interiors, where clean forms, natural materials and considered details come together to create a harmonious whole.
